“Meganekko: The Bespectacling” or “Makes passes at girls in glasses”
Many people in the world know that I love girls who wear glasses. They are, to me, the most beautiful people in the world. I honestly think that a ‘plain’ girl that is wearing a nice pair of glasses, that match her face’s shape and eye color and such, is more beautiful than a supermodel or the like.
Why, many of my friends have asked, do you like girls in glasses so much?
The answer is both simple and complex.
The simple answer is that I find girls in glasses (meganekko is a slang term for them in Japanese) alluring. Girls in glasses tend to be smart (or at the very least, fairly well read), and to me, intelligence is one of the attractive things in life.
The complex answer is… I’m not sure. I just do. I have dated girls who didn’t wear glasses, and inevitably, there’s always a moment where I ask them to put a pair on… and God help me, they are even more beautiful to me when they wear them.
I am a sick, sick man.
I’ve thought about it long and hard, and have come to the conclusion that while I could and would date a woman who didn’t wear glasses, I would probably be much happier if she did… even if it was just for me.
My love/obsession with girls in glasses is probably worse than this post reveals, but I’ll save that for another time.
(And again, this is post dated… because I’m stupid and didn’t hit the ‘Publish’ button when I finished writing this)

Oh we all have our temptations. Meganekko aren’t the worst fetish in the world. You just have taste for it.
Just like how I have a taste for short Ami-chan hairstyles.
Wait, did that just come out?

Same here, though glasses or no glasses I still find intelligence to be the one thing I find attractive in women. Even though I am not super smart and I don’t expect them to be, I like to be able to hold some sort of intelligent conversation sometimes about whatever is relevant in this day and age.
But glasses do make many girls look so much nicer. Hell, I think I look better with glasses than I do without sometimes, which is why I won’t switch to contacts, aside from me not wanting to poke my eyes every day. I’ll take glasses over that.
And another besides, you think you have weird tastes and such, I must be a train wreck of weird yo. =)

Jefurii: I have more than a taste. I have a mild obsession. Maybe not even mild, at this point.
And hey, Ami-chan haircuts are okay, man.
Delta: I do like intelligence in a woman. Very much so. But I’m finding that it’s the glasses that matter more, which kind of scares me.
As for your tastes being weird… who said that glasses were my only ‘thing’?

That’s.. almost creepy that you’d ask a girl to put on glasses for you……

Tubby: I suppose, but no less creepy than people who are into certain kinds of outfits (maids, whatever), and that ask their significant other to wear those kinds of clothes. I’d guess it was one of the most common kinks in the world.
And I AM creepy. You’ve been to my place, you’ve seen the proof.

Well, those of us that are intelligent and have perfect vision, might resent the fact that you would require us to change for you

Zen: Well, I’m not asking for the woman to change for me… just ‘dress up’ once in a while… well, maybe more than once in a while.

Kryptonite-like powers…these meganekko have huh? I totally understand…though I think my weakness is less overwhelming. ^^;

Shinikenshi: To me, meganekko are super-kryponite. But unlike Superman, I like it. Sick, aren’t I?

You know, compared to some people I know…your place looks…fairly normal. Neat and organized. And just when you thought it was safe…one only needs to look through the wrong sketch book and-
… ^_^;
