Tubby: In cases like that, it might be better to just shunt them into their own little world. @.@

BT: Thank you, hon. I appreciate your words and your experiences. ^^ *hug* You are an awesome Abby. :D

My Belated Comment: I don't speak Alabama-Fire-and-Brimstone-Redneck. Never have. I know it's very different, but in a LOT of cases, even if we speak the same verbal language as our families, we don't speak the same social/ emotional languages. BUT...:::::BIG HUGS AGAIN:::: YOU are a GOOD, good Pocky. ^_^

Their ability to do that to me is now stumped by distance. Not to say they don't keep trying. Moving farther away from them is still an option. Maybe Australia? XD

memesis: I have, to the ones who speak Japanese. XD In general, they don't have any negative feelings towards Japanese people. Hell, one of my cousins married a Japanese woman recently (and her Korean is better than mine. >.<).

tubby: Well, there's a difference between actively being left out/made to feel left out (which sucks, and I'm sorry about it :/) and being left out because there's no way to be included in the conversation. If I could speak Korean with more skill, I would be welcomed into the conversations, I'm sure.

You can end up the fifth wheel pretty easily even when they all speak english together. My sister in law's mother must be orgasmic not to have me around.
